The Bible says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).

“Trust in Jehovah with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

Faith allows us to face difficulties fearlessly; faith allows us to see God’s deeds in difficulties.

In real life, we will encounter some tribulations and hardships. In the face of these circumstances, as long as we have true faith in God and sincerely pray and rely on God, we are sure to see God’s deeds because God is our ever-present ... Read more »

1 People’s prayers are also a sort of conduit through which the Holy Spirit works. When people pray and seek while in the right state, the Holy Spirit will also be working simultaneously. This is a sort of harmonious cooperation between God and humanity from two different perspectives; in other words, it is God helping people deal with certain issues. This is a type of cooperation from humans when they come before God; it is also a type of method by which God saves and cleanses people. Moreover, it is the path for people’s proper entry into life, and it is not a kind of ceremony. The significance of prayer is deeply profound! If you pray often, and if you know how to pray—frequently praying both submissively and reasonably—then your internal state will ... Read more »

Who also has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.

- 2 Corinthians 3:6

This verse makes me understand that when reading God’s words in the Bible, we shouldn’t only understand them according to the literal meaning. Instead, we should seriously ponder them to understand God’s will.
Then how to read God’s words to understand the truth?

God says, “Results must be achieved from eating and drin ... Read more »

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

This verse tells us why we’re spiritually thirsty and hungry, and living in a state of negativity and weakness, and why the church is desolate. It is because we don’t seek the words and work of God, much less do we listen to His words. As a result, we have lost the provisions of God’s words and are suffering a famine. It’s just like the end of the Age of Law, when the temple became desolate. It was because God had departed from the temple and the Lord Jesus had expressed words and launched the work of redemption outside the temple. Once God’s new work began, the Holy Spirit no longer worked in the temple but defended the work of the Lord Jesus. Those who followed Him a ... Read more »

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

Two days ago, I took the potted to the outdoor. After a rain, it was almost limp like frosted eggplant. I was aching and thought: It’s hopeless … However, this morning I stumbled across the potted, and it became more vigorous. I couldn’t help but sigh: Rain makes flowers stronger. Aren’t our lives also this way? If one wants to have maturity in life, he must experience some setbacks and hardships. Only people such as this can become stronger. Because we cannot see the value of experiencing these hardships or understand that the adversity can serve as a paving stone to success, we are afraid of difficulties and hope that our life goes well once and for all. It is easy for us to become depraved and freeloaders, even lead a sated, idle life in comfortable environment. If we continue on this way, we will achieve nothing and live i ... Read more »

And he said to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

- Matthew 4:19

In the words of the Lord Jesus we see what He expected of and entrusted to Peter and Andrew his brother—becoming His disciples, spreading His gospel, finding God’s chosen people and enabling them to return to God. This is also the Lord’s expectations of and commission to every one of us followers of God. We are fortunate to be born during the last days, be chosen by God, hear His voice, and experience His work. Spreading the gospel, and enabling more people who are living in darkness to return before ... Read more »

Like the hundreds of millions of others who follow the Lord Jesus Christ, we abide by the laws and commandments of the Bible, enjoy the abundant grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and gather together, pray, praise, and serve in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ—and all this we do under the care and protection of the Lord. We are often weak, and we are also often strong. We believe that all of our actions are in accordance with the teachings of the Lord. It goes without saying, then, that we also believe ourselves to ... Read more »
