Editor’s Note:
Speaking of rapture in the air, most brothers and sisters are expecting to be raised up by the Lord when He returns. Christian Chen Li is no exception. However, when she read the Bible, she found that the view of the whole church being raptured might not be in line with what the Lord Jesus said, and then got confused. Later, through Sister Han’s fellowship, Chen Li understood why this view was not correct, what the meaning of rapture was, what kind of people the Lord will rapture when He returns, and how to be raptured.
The meeting began. Pastor Yu was leading brothers and sisters in reading the Bible, “Then we which are alive and

2. God’s Words Can Reveal the Mysteries of God’s Management Work
The utterances of God will necessarily be able to reveal the mysteries of His management work. For example, it was prophesied in the Old Testament that Elias would come, but when he did come, no one recognized him. Only when the Lord Jesus unveiled this mystery, saying, “And if you will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come” (Matthew 11:14), did people realize that John the Baptist was the prophet Elias. Moreover, the Lord Jesus said: “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like to a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good i

The Parable of the Wise Virgins
The Lord Jesus said, “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go you r

Gospel Q&A
The Bible states that after the Lord Jesus was baptized, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon the Lord Jesus like a dove, a voice said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Mat 3:17). And we believers all acknowledge that the Lord Jesus is Christ, the Son of God. Yet you’ve testified that the incarnate Christ is the appearance of God, is God Himself, that the Lord Jesus is God Himself and Almighty God is also God Himself. This differs from our previous understanding. So is the incarnate Christ God Himself or God’s Son? Both situations seem reasonable to us, and both accord with the Bi

On Christmas days, do we still remember the Lord Jesus’ love for man while having a good time? John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” From this verse we can see that God’s love for man is selfless. To save mankind that had been corrupted by Satan, God became flesh and came among man personally, and was nailed to the cross, so that those who believed in Him could be forgiven of their sins because of His love. After His resurrection and ascent to heaven, the Lord Jesus promised man that “Surely He come quickly.”
Over two thousand years, man has longed for the Savior Jesus to descend upon a white cloud among those who have pined and yearned for Him. And I was no exceptio

Fantasies of Being Raptured Into the Air to Meet With God
In 2014, a sister preached the Lord Jesus’ gospel to me. After I started believing in God, I enthusiastically went to meetings, and at one my pastor said, “The Lord Jesus said, ‘I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also’ (John 14:2–3). And Paul also said, ‘Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord’ (1 Thessalonians 4:17). The Lord has prepared a place for us, and when the Lord returns, we will directly be r

It is said in the Bible, “For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Romans 10:10). Many of us therefore believe that by believing in the Lord Jesus, we are already saved and once saved always saved, so when the second coming of Christ arrives we will automatically be raptured into the kingdom of heaven. However, some brothers and sisters feel perplexed: We commit sins in the day and confess them at night, and often lose our tempers at people; we frequently tell lies and are capable of deceiving people and God, and haven’t become as a little child. God is holy, and absolutely no sinner is permitted to e

Most people are familiar with the ark of Noah, because not only does the Bible record it, but because archaeologists also proved that it really does exist, as it was found in the valley of Mount Ararat in Turkey (which is the place Noah’s ark rests on).
Since Adam and Eve didn’t listen to God’s word, but listened to the enticements of the serpent and ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, various corrupt satanic dispositions were planted in humans’ hearts. Mankind became more and more deeply corrupted by Satan. When it got to the time of Noah, the earth was filled with violence, evil and licentiousness. Mankind abandoned themselves to hideous depravity, and incited the wrath of

The Bible says: “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:20-21). “As also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction” (2 Peter 3:16). “For the letter kills, but the spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians 3:6). These verses tell us that we cannot interpret prophecies literally relying on our conceptions and imaginings, because prophecies are from God, and it is only through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit that we can understand them. However, bef

Prophecies are about things that haven’t happened yet, that God has already told us about. Some of them are signs that He gave to prophets so that they would write about them, such as in the books of Isaiah and Daniel. Some of them were told to people directly by God in the flesh, like the Lord Jesus’ prophecies about the last days. How a prophecy is actually fulfilled isn’t something that we as humans can fathom. What I want to express here is that we all know that prophecies aren’t things that people can full understand, but many people still try to rely on their own thinking and imaginations in looking at biblical prophecies. They give sermons without any restraint based on the literal meanings of prophecies. This is a really serious issue. Not only can this bring harm to others, but it can also mislead them so that they may miss out on
